With the coming of the end of the Cold War, the issues of non-traditional security have been widely noticed in the world community. In recent years the cross-Strait exchanges have been growing constantly, and the problems which relates to non-traditional security, such as environmental pollution and epidemic diseases could have resulted in major impacts on the environmental security of our country. Due to the incessant growth of passengers and goods between Kinmen and Xiamen, the influence on our environmental security caused by the cross-Strait ''Mini Three Links'' can not be disregarded. The study was focused on the residents' perception and concern of environmental security impact that may have occurred on Kinmen since the ''Mini Three Links'' was implemented. The results indicated that the residents of Kinmen became generally aware of the influence caused by the Kinmen-Xiamen Links.
