The major purpose of this study was to examine instructional designers' attitudes toward the Instructional Design Skill Certification program (IDSC). Aquestionnaire was conducted to collect instructional designers' attitudes toward IDSC. Among the 82 responders, 45 of them had taken the certification tests.The analysis showed that instructional designers confirmed the positive effects of IDSC on the development of e-learning industry and the helpfulness ofcertified-participants' job-seeking. It was suggested that the test item difficulty and target audience of IDSC should be further improved and positioned to meetthe need of e-learning industry. Therefore, IDSC can bring forth positive effects on the development of e-learning industry. |
