In Taiwan, a lot of districts developed multi-story buildings. The Construction and Planning Agency has finished to revise the clauses of building regulation and to execute in 2016 (the clauses of floor impact sound are going to be executed in 2019).In this study, wefollowed CNS 15160-8 to execute the experiments of floor impact sound and calculated the result values by CNS 8465-2.We discussed the impact sound insulation performance of floor surface material which combined with foam, polyester and composite rubber materials. The results showed that, the impact sound insulation performance of foam damping material got better values with the lower hardness, density and Compression stress. The application of composite rubber damping material results show that,Rubber materials provide porosity to create elasticity,Polyester and glass wool provide a better structural system and ∆Lw value could up to 25 dB or more.
