鄭成功意象與臺灣的再中國化(1945-1963)

戰後初期臺人主動追溯鄭成功的歷史意象，臺南延平郡王祠的碑記中展現「再中國化」形象，官方也對鄭氏褒揚，歷屆省運會在該祠引燃聖火。省參議員提議臺北劍潭山神社舊址建築延平祠取代神社信仰，春秋兩祭日期也有官方明確規定。1961年鄭成功復臺三百週年之際，出現「開臺」與「復臺」字眼爭議，「復臺」一詞反映臺灣與中國大陸的歷史連繫，最終仍以「鄭成功復臺」作為官方用詞，1963年祭祀鄭氏也升格為國家祭典層級。1950年代臺南市與臺北市爭奪興建鄭氏銅像，可見鄭氏意象政治正確，雖臺北一度爭奪成功，但因故該像坐落於臺南市火車站前；鄭氏意象也作為黨政軍的反共號召，報刊結合反共與反殖民等意象，以「驅荷」比附反抗「日本殖民」。

During the Early stage after WWII, the Taiwan people actively traced the history imagery of Zheng Cheng-gong. The inscription on Koxinga Shrine of Tainan showed "Re-Chinalization" image. The Zheng was also praised by the government, and the successive torches have been ignited in the temple for Provincial Sports Meetings. Provincial senator proposed to construct Yanping Shrine (replacing of shrine belief) at the former site of Taipei Jiantan mountain shrine; the dates of sacrifices in Spring and Autumn also have official specific provisions. On the occasion of Tercentenary (after three-hundred years that Zheng Cheng-gong recovered Taiwan), the dispute of these two words "Creation of Taiwan" and "Recovery of Taiwan" appeared in 1961. The word "Recovered Taiwan" reflects the history connection of Taiwan and China. Finally, the word "Zheng Cheng-gong Recovered Taiwan" was still taken as the official words. In 1963, worship of Zheng also upgraded to the grading of the country Ceremonies. In the 1950s, Tainan and Taipei competed for the construction of the statue of Zheng, indicating that the Zheng imagery is politically correct. Although Taipei once successfully win, but for some reason the imagery was finally located in front of the Tainan railway station; Cheng imagery are taken as the anti-communist exhortation of Chinese Nationalist Party（中國國民黨）, government, military. In addition, combined with the anti-communist and anti-colonial imagery by newspapers and periodicals, the idea "Expel the Dutch" is taken as the analogy of “Against Japanese Colonial".
