Deconstruction is an analytical method to examine law and its surface discourse. The breakthrough point of this paper is to put the book "legal Orientalism" in the context of legal deconstruction, questioning the two characteristics of legal opposition. Then, a brief review of many early works at the theme of Orientalism and the law, in the promotion of non western law knowledge at the same time that Orientalism still plays an important role in the world we live in. Then, the test "many ideas about Chinese could not myth of legal Orientalism" is proposed, and the effects of the book on why the United States to China for verification of exterritoriality. Finally, through an empirical investigation in this book - oriented practice of American extraterritoriality in China, thinking Orientalism contribution to legal research and legal research in the future. |
