網路新聞中的客家再現：符號與意義的分析視角

A Symbols-and-Meaning Approach to the Hakka Representation in the Internet News

本研究檢閱網路媒體再現客家文化與符號學的理論與文獻，採用內容分析法與文本分析法，探討網路新聞媒體所再現的客家文化意象與符號，並詮釋其內涵意義。本研究透過Google Alerts（Google 快訊）蒐集2014年3月12日至2014年5月11日，歷時兩個月期間，共計458則網路客家新聞內容。分析類目包括：媒體類型、消息來源、報導篇幅、點閱人數、按讚次數、評論次數、超連結次數、報導地區、報導類型、報導主題、報導方向、文化意象、客家人形象、節慶類型。本研究並以符號學角度分析網路新聞文本，以詮釋網路新聞所再現的客家符號及其內涵意義。

Based on theories and analytical frameworks of media representation and semiology, the current study examines 458 Hakka internet news stories retrieved from Google Alerts during March 12 to May 11, 2014. Content analysis and textual analysis are employed to inquire content categories including the news type, topic, source, report area, length, number of likes, number of hyperlinks, and Hakka image. Signification of the Hakka cultural symbols and the connotative meanings of the Hakka Tung Blossom festival represented and constructed in the news stories are analyzed and interpreted. Limitations of the current study and suggestions for the future research are provided.
