On Judicial Process' Role and Political Future of FTZ

上海自貿區的法治建設並不是要在中國的政治版圖之內重新打造一座“自說自話”的“司法離島”，而必須是一個能夠“再嵌入”中國經濟、政治生活的“司法前哨”。只有這樣，我們才有可能將同樣內在於人民司法傳統中的“開放與參與”納入全球化的法治視野中來，並借此塑造一種超越意識形態隔閡的司法公共面相；也只有這樣，我們才有可能將上海自貿區建設成為能夠贏得資本信任的頂級國際金融中心。

Shanghai Free Trade Zone shall not be out of the jurisdiction of China in the field of justice; it shall be a kind of “judicial outpost” which is able to be a “reembedding” of Chinas economy and political life. On this basis, we can make the same judicial tradition of the “openness and participation” to be involved by the global vision of “rule by law”, and shape the kind of judicial public face which can transcend the ideological barriers. And it is possible that Shanghai FTA will be established as an international financial center which can  win the trust of the capital.
