This paper tried to depict the researcher's five-year experiences of kindergarten guidance through self-narration which described how the researcher raised consciousness and action through the guidance process in order to rethink the Kindergarten's Guidance Program. The materials for analyses included guidance reports, adviser's journals, and interview transcripts. The features of this story line were beginning, continuing, turning, and integration, which described the process of guidance consciousness and explored the adviser's role. Finally, the researcher provided three suggestions, this paper for Kindergarten's Guidance Program were promoting the advisers' critical consciousness of guidance and curriculum, re-conceptualizing professional development for teachers, and reforming the curriculums and putting into practice. |
