The Study on Features of Animal Characters in Animation Films

動物是動畫角色中不可或缺的一類，動物角色令動畫作品更加出乎意料而引人注目。本研究在於了解動畫作品之動物角色如何創造設計出來，探討動物角色應用於動畫之中的類型、特徵及在動畫的表現方式，蒐集角色設計相關文獻，並將角色類型、特徵及表現方式這三方面設置成研究項目表，對相關動畫作品之角色進行綜合研究分析，統整出與動畫相關的動物角色設計參考準則：(1)肢體利用生理結構與身份進行調整身材比例。(2)裝飾打扮利用主體裝飾再後續增添擬人化，以及運用其他道具。(3)臉部表情運用擬人化，誇大嘴形的變化性。(4)說話方式配合性格與情緒。(5)行為模式上配合習性與身份性格。(6)特殊習慣中展現習性、身份及性格特質。

Animal is a necessary category in the animation character. Animal character makes the animation more surprise and attractive. This study aims to interpret how animal characters in the animation created with design, and analyze the types, features, and performance of the animal characters in the animation. Based on those aspects in collected references of character design, subjects form established to progress comprehensive research on the character of the relevant animation. In the final research step, integrating analysis results of this study as reference guidelines of the animal characters design associated with the animation. The major subjects of this study include: 1) In bodily structure, using physical and identity feature change the structure; 2) In decorations, dress up the body shape then add anthropomorphism, or other props; 3) Make facial expression more anthropomorphism, and exaggerate lips; 4) The way of speak coordinates the personality and the emotions; 5) Behavior combines with habits and identity feature; and 6) Perform special habit in animal behavior, identity and personality.
