The purpose of this study was to investigate the concepts and related studies of work values and commitment to teaching, which as a theoratical basis of empirical study with conceptual model of work values and commitment to teaching of teacher education students. This study adopyed literature review to investigate the means and contents of work values and commitment to teaching, and the significant factors of the teacher education students' work values and commitment to teaching. The result was found that teacher education students' work values included eight significant factors (senses of achievement and mission, security, and interpersonal relationship), and teacher education students' commitment to tesching job, preparation and involvement), and there was positive correlation between work values and commitment to teaching of the teacher education students. According to the conclusions od literature review, this study will submit a conceptual model of work values and commitment to teaching of teacher education students. And then this conceptual model will be used as a research framework for future survey study. |
