“HuaGu''is a typical song and dance XiaoXi (a kind of traditional Chinese opera) which was very popular throughout the years among the common people, and it was partly adapted from an opera''HongMeiJi'' in the Ming dynasty. The XiaoXi preserves two versions of its scripts, which belong to Kun tune and KunYi tune respectively. The research mainly debates on the historical orders of these two different tunes of scripts| on the other hand, we also discuss the similarities and dissimilarities as well as the relationships between the two. In addition, we examine the presentation of the XiaoXi in all the past dynasties, hoping to provide some reference for future researches. |
