Background: Works are complex and diversity for community health nurses. Therefore, their quality of life was concerned. The aim of this study is to survey the quality of life among community health nurses in different workplace. Methods: This study was a cross-sectional survey. A total of 328 nurses of different workplace were recruited. A self-administered online questionnaire was used to collect data including basic and work characteristics, and quality of life. SPSS 20.0 was used for statistical analysis. Results: The quality of life for community health nurses was moderate. After standardization, among four domains of quality of life, the highest domain is the physiological domain (60.5±14.5), and the lowest one is the psychological domain (52.6±16.3). School nurses had the highest quality of life. On the other hand, primary healthcare nurses had significantly lower scores than other nurses (p<0.05). Conclusions: There was different quality of life among community health nurses in different workplace. In future, it is important to explore the related factors of lowering the quality of life for community health nurses in different workplace, to develop intervention programs to promote the quality of life of community nurses. |
