The purpose of this study was to investigate 12 dreams of a man during his life as a soldier and worked overseas, and to understand the connection between the content of dream and living condition. The notes of dreams and intersubjectivity dialogue between the researcher and dreamer were the data used to interpret the meanings of the dreams. These dreams reflected the dreamer's work choice process, his inner emotions and thoughts, and release the pressure. The contents of dreams were not only related to current issues, but also the epitome of long-term life. Some dreams also showed the dreamer's interpersonal relationship patterns, personal characteristics and affair dealing attitudes. Based on these findings, this study suggests that practitioners can understanding dreams' life by talking and exploring dreams, and use the information the dreams revealed to get better knowing of the dreamer's feeling. |
