〈虔十公園林〉為宮澤賢治所著，描述有著輕度智能障礙的虔十，生前遭受輕視，死後卻受到高度的評價，且隨著記念碑一同存留於人們的記憶中。故事中，孩子們及那所學校扮演了重要角色，於歷史本文中是如何被看待？本論文以多次提及之運動場為重點，也藉由虔十公園林反思現代學校教育問題。

“The Kenju Park Grove” which is written by Kenji Miyazawa, narrates that Kenju with mild mental retardation was disparaged during his life time. After his death, he received high appraisal and furthermore, a monument was erected to memorialize him. In the story, the children and the school played important roles. On the other hand, what is their position in the historical context? The thesis is focused on sports ground which is mentioned frequently and reflects on the problems of the modern school education via “The Kenju Park Grove”.
