淺談國中資優教育——以臺南市建興國中為例

建興國中資優班設立於1979年,成立至今已經39年,是國內相當具有歷史的一個資優班。從成立初期的純男校,到後來僅資優班兼收女生;從獨立成班的資優班,到現在的分散式資優資源班,可說是經歷了國內資優教育的所有變革。今日的建興國中數理資優班,除了有堅強的教師團隊,加上校方行政團隊全力支援,所以展現豐碩的成果。該校資優課程除了數學、自然和輔導科目抽離上課之外,還增加了科學服務,在科學服務課程中,學生需要運用所學與專長,自行規劃能帶到偏鄉去和小朋友交流的課程,將自己的專長轉化為服務的能量,除了驗證科學的真,也體會了服務的美,完美結合科學教育與情意教育,是屬於注重全人發展的資優教育方案,可做為他校的參考。 Established in 1979, the gifted class of Tainan Municipal Jian Sing Junior High School bears witness to the transformation of gifted education in Taiwan in the past four decades. Jian Sing Junior High School used to be an all male school. It started co-education with its first gifted class and later had co-education extended to the whole school. In the past, gifted students used to be enrolled under one single class; now with the policy change to further meet students'multiple educational needs, gifted students are equally distributed into regular classes and attend school-based pull-out programs (math, science, and career guidance) designed by its faculty. The faculty members of the gifted class are all qualified teachers specializing in gifted education. In addition to the pull-out programs, gifted students of Jian Sing Junior High enjoy doing volunteer service by organizing science camps for students in remote areas of Taiwan. This helps them apply what they have learned in class to real-life situations and cultivate compassion. Faculty team work of Jian Sing Junior High together with sufficient administrative support has showed a remarkable progress in gifted education,and the researchers hope this case could be a role model for other schools.
