本研究以四位小琉球退休船長為研究對象,透過深度訪談法蒐集資料,以時間為軸線,探究小琉球漁民職涯發展之歷程及退休決定的考量點。研究發現:(1)小琉球漁民的職業選擇由地理位置及家庭社經地位所決定,個人的能力和意願非考量因素。(2)職涯發展開始得相當早,都在完成國民教育之後;沒有接受正式職業教育的機會,船上事務的學習仰賴經驗傳承。(3)「船長」是職涯發展歷程中所要追求的最終目標,四位受訪者都是在三十歲之前就開始擔任船長,五十歲左右離開職場。(4)小琉球漁民之退休決定多迫於無奈,主要受大環境所影響,在經濟狀況還過得去的情況下,做出退休的決定。
Four Hsiao-liu-chiu retired fishermen were participated in this study. In-depth interviewing was conducted by the researcher. Taking time as the axis, the purpose of this research was to inquiry the reason of going fishing on the sea, career development process and retirement decision and based on the conclusions give relevant suggestions. The results were summarized as follows:(1) Career choices are influenced by the geographic location and family status. Personal ability and preference are not the factors to consider. (2) Career development is very early, after the completion of elementary education; there is no opportunity for formal vocational education, and learning on board matters depends on experience (3)”Captain” is the ultimate goal during career development process to pursue, all of the interviewees were captains before the age of 30.(4) Retirement decisions are mostly driven by helplessness, mainly affected by the big environment . They make a retirement decision in the case of economic permission. According to the findings, make suggestions to government, Hsiao-liu-chiu local government, retired fishermen and their family, and future Researchers. |
