The presumed naturalized colony of Artemisia fi lifolia Torr. was first observed in Taiwan in 1995, and has currently (2018) established a huge wild population around the coastal region of northern Hualien County. Its gray-green, filliform cauline leaves distinguish it from other members of Artemisia in Taiwan. Since A. fi lifolia has never been recorded in any literature in the Flora of Taiwan, its taxonomic treatment, line drawings, and color photographs of this species from the wild are herein provided to aid in identification. |
