NCL International Exchange Events(Vol.49 No.2)

On January 4, Ms. Gee Miao Miin from the National Library Board of Singapore visited Director-general Shu-hsien Tseng and toured NCL's facilities and service. In addition, the two libraries exchanged views on hiring and training staff, arranging training courses, assessing public libraries, and professional learning maps for librarians. On January 18, Professor Hong Ryul Kim and other 16 members of delegation from the Department of Library and Information Science, Jeonju University, South Korea, came to the NCL to visit the library and related service facilities. In addition, opinions are exchanged about the NCL's human resources, the use of study carrels, reading promotion activities, as well as Japanese and Korean collections, etc.
