March 2018 saw the publication of the first issue of Taiwan Publishing and Reading by the National Central Library. This new periodical replaces New Books: Recent and Forthcoming Publications in Taiwan, ROC (Issued Monthly), which ran for 19 years and 228 issues from 1999-2017. It is hoped that the new publication will be even better able to reflect social trends, and prove even more beneficial in the dissemination of culture and promotion of reading. |
