During the first decade after independence, Lithuania has promulgated 'Trade and Service Marks Law' (l993), 'Patent Law' (1994),'Copyright and Related Rights Law' (1999) and others important acts concerning intellectual property protection. In the beginning of twenty first century, the Lithuania has introduced European Union intellectual property law. These three acts reflect the current situation of intellectual property legislation in Lithuania and how Lithuania transfer the intellectual property legislation of European Union, which have a certain value for reference to study intel1ectual property law of Lithuania and the European Union. |
