In wireless communication, although the limited bandwidth, its related application and the number of users have been growing, the efficient bandwidth management and traffic scheduling make people satisfy the requirement of the multimedia wireless communication for different service types (e.g., voice, video, data etc.) and different quality of service (QoS) requests. In order to obtain high utilization, high correctness, and high QoS, network management for wireless communication must be considered. Multi-carrier code division multiple access (MC-CDMA) scheme can use several pseudo-noise (PN) codes to transmit in the same period to make higher throughput and support different traffic streams. This paper uses MC-CDMA to manage traffic and provide different services for wireless ATM network. We propose a dynamic resource allocation mechanism (DRAM), which designs an effective resource allocation management algorithm and compensate method, to reduce the dropping probability of handoff calls and blocking probability of new calls. |
