Distal radius fracture

橈骨遠端骨折為遭受外力撞擊跌倒時，以手緊急撐地之常見傷害，若未適當復位及固定，致復原情況不理想，常造成病患日後之手部活動不利及功能受限。本病案是七十四歲女性，跌倒後以手撐地致左手橈骨遠端骨折，經西醫以石膏固定後又再求助中醫，中醫骨傷科醫師歷經重新固定、癒合後解除固定、傷科手法及中藥治療之整體療程後，讓病患功能逐漸回復。

Distal radius fracture was caused by hand supporting on the ground after falling down. Poor range of motion and limited function were often occured after not proper reduction and fixation. This 74 years-old female patient suffered from distal radius fracture and cast fixation was performed. Chinese traumatology doctor gave re-fixation, manipulation and herbs treatments and then patient's function improved.
