This study is to explore the need for care of the elderly living alone. Through the analysis of documents and in-depth interviewing survey of the elders' individual summarize the important decoding. The study results showed that: 1. There are eight facets in the care needs of elderly people living alone and the 'community' and 'psychological adjustment' are as the core of the study among the facets, which are not only to meet the purpose of this study but also to meet the two facets most can reduce the psychological burden of elderly people living alone. 2. Facet of the basic needs for life safety such as 'Health care', 'health / medical' and 'leisure' could be supported by local government that the intangible security maintenance and the continuous self-independent life would be provided. 3. Integrate with social software to meet the 'community' and 'psychological adjustment' and focus on the need for interactive contact to implement the purpose of happiness and dignity. 4. Good or bad for 'mobile / ability' facet concerns the feasibility of living alone and living quality. |
