Critics argue that violent and sexual descriptions in Lin Yaode’s fiction are the symbolsof the exclusive consciousness of Taiwan rural literature, and show his intention tore-write the Taiwan literary history. Adhering to the concept of “justice”, this paper triesto investigate his literary criticism of urban literature, his understanding on realism, ruralliterature, analytical psychology, and post-modernism, to suggest his literary thoughtcan be perceived as one kind of literature of justice. This study on Lin’s fiction and literaturereview helps develop discussions on literary ethics. |
