Luo Jinxi's Family Philosophy

近溪家庭哲學以「和氣致祥感通天地」為其核心思想，即以「人其人」達致「仁其仁」的境界。在方法上，基本上扣緊其「以生代心」的哲學思想，以「人和」完成「心和」而感通天地。而人和無非是孝父母，和兄弟，善妻子。其中這三件事又以孝父母為本，一根而發。人格養成，注重胎教、境教、禮教與明師良友的指點與提撕，整體上是尊德性而後道問學的進路。雖然近溪承認良知現成，但亦不忘慾望與情識對良知的干擾。是以，近溪不排斥佛教因果冤業戒懼提撕之效，惟近溪以儒家反求諸己將此消極觀轉為積極的正命觀。關於其生活觀與生命觀，近溪認為工作無貴賤，各安其命理；以德為本福為末，追求死而不忘的慧命，並以感恩、反省、戒懼的態度敬畏天命。至於對後嗣的教育態度，可以說是從自由開放到以儒家孝弟慈為宗。

Kindness on the part of the father, and filial duty on that of the son; gentleness on the part of the elder brother, and obedience on that of the younger; righteousness on the part of the husband, and submission on that of the wife; kindness on the part of elders, and deference on that of juniors. In which also take the filial duty as a basis. Personality fostering, pay attention to the prenatal learning, situational education, the rites education , the Enlightened teacher and good friend's guidance. Luo Jinxi does not repel the Buddhism Cause and Effect, But t Luo Jinxi take engages in introspection transforms as the positive significance. Luo Jinxi take the morals as a basis, thought has the morals to have the good fortune inevitably. It's education manner, from freely opens kindly to take the Confucianist filial and brotherly piety as an ancestor.
