At that time, the abolished crown prince Liu Shao took the initiative and led soldiers of his palace to sneak into the imperial palace to murder the emperor and his ministers. Liu Shao immediately ascended the throne and became the new emperor of the empire. So that he completed the unfilial conduct of usurping his father's throne and killing him. Thereupon, the third prince Liu Jun who on the battlefield immediately led his army to attack those barbarians and force into the capital where the imperial palace was located to murder the new "emperor", Liu Shao, and he completed the battle of "punishing the tyrant" to revenge his father. Later, Liu Jun was enthroned and became the new emperor of Liu Song Empire.
