日語的重疊形容詞：其形態、意義、機能

The Reduplicated Adjectives in Japanese: forms, meaning, function

本文針對日語裡以重疊的詞幹與詞綴「-しい」合成的「重疊形容詞」討論其詞音形態、詞義內容與句法功能。首先，在第一節的「前言」裡扼要介紹本文的目的與大綱，然後在第二節「重疊形容詞的詞音形態」、第三節的「重疊形容詞的詞義內涵」與第四節「重疊形容詞的句法功能」裡依序論述日語重疊形容詞的詞音形態、詞義內涵與句法功能的特徵以及三者之間的相互關係，並在最後一節的「結語」裡以「痛い、痛ましい、痛々しい」、「憎い、憎らしい、憎々しい」等為例討論在日語教學的現場裡如何區別這些關聯詞語的意義與用法。

The present paper aims to discuss Japanese “reduplicated” adjectives consisting of the adjective ending “-shi” attached to reduplicated stems, with regard to their phonetic shape, semantic content and syntactic function. The paper consists of five sections. The first section introduces the aim and contents of the paper, followed by three sections dealing, respectively, with the phonetic shape, semantic contest and syntactic function. Finally, the last section illustrates how the related adjectives, such as “” and”” can be taught in the actual classroom teaching Japanese.
