This study attempted to investigate Qi-Sheng Hung, a Taiwanese poet, who wrote Poetry of Eight States during his traveling around eight states in China. In the book, Hung described what he saw and heard and how he felt during the journey. The researcher explored Hung's mind, including emotion, character, and the love for his motherland from different angles. Moreover, the researcher deeply analyzed the methodology and style in Hung's Poetry of Eight States and revealed Hung’s brilliant talent in poetry and unique personality. |
