展示維修人員在互動式展示策展團隊應扮演的角色－－以科學工藝博物館為例

The Roles of the Maintenance Staffs in Exhibition Team of Interactive Exhibition－An Example of National Science & Technology Museum

國內科技博物館以國立科學工藝博物館為首開。本文旨在探討該館自民國八十六年開館迄今，展示廳互動展示單元的維修需求頻仍的問題，是否可從展示籌設階段設法避免。文中並闡述在建構主義的基本精神下，博物館逐步發展出互動式展示；國立科學工藝博物館在此潮流下既以互動式展示為展示之取向，在設計過程就應對日後的維護問題有所考量。為此筆者認為有必要引進最新之科技設備，並設法提昇館內維修人員的技術，在策展過程最好能以專案編組成立策展團隊，除了專業研究人員、展示規劃及設計人員、教育人員、公共服務人員及行銷人員之外，展品維修人員亦應納入策展團隊，以便從展品維修的角度提供展示在設計上應考量的問題。

National Science & Technology Museum is the pioneer of science & technology museum in Taiwan. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the problems of the frequent needs for repair during the interactive exhibition in the museum since the opening in 1997 and whether or not the problems can be avoided during the planning process. The study also elaborated that the Science & Technology Museum is developing into the mode of interactive exhibition under constructivism. Since National Science & Technology Museum has followed the trend of interactive exhibition, repairing work at the later stage should be taken into consideration during the process of design. Therefore, the author believes that there is a need to introduce the latest advanced scientific and technical equipment and try to enhance the skills of maintenance staffs. During the planning process, it will be better to form an exhibition team to recruit professional researchers, exhibition planners and designers, educators, attendants and marketers. Maintenance staff should be also included in the team for the benefit of providing repairing and maintenance concerns during the design process.
