In the awake of the new millenarian, the National Science & Technology Museum (NSTM), whose budget and personnel are limited, has had new ideas in response to rapid changes and needs in diversified society and in competition with cultural, educational, and recreational organizations. Being a part of the community, it has became an important issue for the NSTM to build a more collaborative relation with the neighborhood, which would gain more social resources, and at the same time achieve its other goal. Since the establishment in 1997, the NSTM has been interacting with 14 nearby neighborhood communities. Due to tight finance and manpower, the goal of this study, which is in the form of survey, is to enhance the cooperation between the NSTM and the communities as future reference by collecting data of people who are from neighborhoods and again mainly between 13 to 20 and 36 to 45, mostly students, such as basic attributes, purpose, frequency of visit, satisfaction toward the out by environment and traffic system, the changes, in real estate nearby, donation the price and service of the tickets, facilities, good-neighbor programs, etc. |
