A 41-year-old man with ankylosing spondylitis (AS) associated with incomplete cauda equina syndrome (CES) is reported. He had had the bladder symptoms including frequency of urination with incomplete voiding 9 years before the onset of AS and enuresis 5 years before entry. He was treated with a 10-day continuous Foley catheterization. He responded well to the treatment and was doing fine during a follow- up period of 3 months. |
