This study aims to understand the variations in the relationships between cognition and imagery of different dynamic images, based on their moving speed, size, moving direction, etc. The results showed that there are variations in readers’ cognition concerning each moving image change. Taking a 19-inch screen as an example, college students will feel comfortable if the image is moving to the top left of the screen. College students will feel comfortable if the image size is 4cm×4cm. Readers will feel comfortable if the image speed is 2sec. College students will feel uncomfortable if the image is moving to the bottom of the screen. College students will feel uncomfortable if the image size is 10cm×10cm. College students will feel uncomfortable if the image speed is 5sec. The study results can provide reference for screen image designers. |
