Since compilation of the “Si Ku Quan Shu” in the Qing Dynasty, “Yong Le Canon” became important information for the research, compilation, and proofreading of literature. From the “Yong Le Canon”, the author has uncovered several minor classics that had originally been lost, that had not been discovered by previous scholars. Of which, “Zi Wan Bo Yi” is unclear in terms of its time period and author, and this book is also rarely mentioned in bibliographies. However, in the over 700 volumes still extant in the “Yong Le Canon”, 384 texts were discovered about “Zi Wan Bo Yi”, and is the most numerous of texts and rhymes in the research and compilation process. This article indexes the texts on “Zi Wan Bo Yi” in the “Yong Le Canon”, and analyzes these texts, in hopes of gaining further understanding for the content and form of “Zi Wan Bo Yi”. |
