工具書數位應用之研究→以辭典為例

A Study on the Digital Application of Reference Books— Dictionary as an Example

文獻數位典藏(Documentary Digital Preservation)，具有：〝永久性的典藏與延續〞、〝無遠弗屆的傳送世界各地〞以及〝資源共建共享〞等優點，並可帶動其他產業的發展，提高國際競爭力，又可增進吾人生活的品質與便捷，造福人類，是一舉數得的事業。因此，世界各國皆不遺餘力的將此列為國家發展的重點，投入龐大的人力、物力，朝這個方向發展。本文以「工具書數位應用之研究」為題，旨在探討目前工具書數位建構模式的缺失，進而提出解決之道，如何應用電腦技術將工具書數位化後，仍能保有傳統閱讀的習慣性與方便性，並確保資料正確無誤，以透過網路的便捷，無遠弗屆的傳送世界各地，供世人分享，並以筆者所建構之〝辭典〞為例做說明，以供後人參考。

Documentary Digital Preservation is characterized with advantages such as, permanent reservation and heritage, worldwide transmission and resource development and cooperation and so on. In addition, Documentary Digital Preservation has numerous effects, which contributes to the development of other related industries, strengthens the global competitiveness, improves the living quality and convenience and benefits people. Therefore, nations worldwide spare no effort to put national development in top priority and invest a large amount of manpower and facilities on it. The current paper was a study on the digital application of reference books which aimed to investigate and proposed the solutions to the weaknesses in the constructive model of present reference books. As a result, the convenience and people's habits can be maintained when the reference books are digitalized via computer technology. In addition, the accurate data in the reference books can be transmitted and shared worldwide through Internet. The current paper exemplified and illustrated 'Dictionary' constructed by the author and intended to be the reference for further study.
