Attitudes to Nature: A Critical Reflection of Environmental Ethics

1.本文的目的在於揭露環境倫理中的簡單事實，並釐清其中可能含有的基本預設，以作為環境倫理學理論進一步建構之預籌。2.透過追溯法、先定前提法、批評反思法、概念形成分析法，探究既有的、新開發的環境議題，本文闡明了「人類與自然的關係」是環境倫理學的主題之一，而其中又以「人類如何對待自然」為考量重點，並且，揭露其中隱含的簡單事實即「以自然之道對待自然」。3.在探究過程，較重要的成果是：1） 嘗試闡明在環境科學之外，何以還需要探究環境倫理學。2） 釐清並界定了「人類對待自然的態度」。3） 提供了建構環境倫理學理論的基本預設。

1. The purpose of my arguments are to expose some simple facts of environmental ethics, and to clarify the basic presupposition in those facts, so as to make them as the preliminary to the constructing of environmental ethical theories. 2. Applying methods of reduction, abduction, critical reflection, analysis of concept formation to the issues of environmental ethics, my investigation tries to illuminate that 'relations between man and nature' are the main thesis of environmental ethics, and the key point 'how do we treat to nature,' and then, to reveal the simple fact 'treat to nature in natural way.' 3. In my research, the possible achievements are: 1) To illuminate the necessity of researching the environmental ethics beside environmental science. 2) Having Clarified and defined the 'attitude to nature.' 3) Having provided presuppositions to the constructing of environmental ethical theories.
