從名物制度之學看經典詮釋

To Observe the Exegesis of Classics in Point of the Study of Things & Systems

本文寫作的宗旨，在強調詮釋經典時，應以聲韻訓詁之學及名物制度之學為基礎。完全漠視上述二者固不恰當，過份誇大聲韻訓詁的重要性也有偏差，對於中國古代的名物制度有適當的修養是必要的。為了支持以上的論點，本文引鄭玄、朱熹、戴震的言論為證，並舉例說明不重視名物制度之學往往導致詮釋上的重大錯誤。

The purpose of this essay is that we must base on phonology & scholium, and the study of things & systems when we emphasize on the exegesis of the classics. It is not appropriate to ignore the two studies that I have mentioned before entirely, but it is also deviating to exaggerate the importance of phonology & scholium excessively. To have the knowledge of the study of things & systems properly is necessary. To support these opinions, I have quoted the statements of Cheng-Hsiuan, Chu-Hsi and Tai-Chen as evidences, and I have given examples to expound that the ignorance of the study of things & systems often cause vital errors of the exegesis.
