老年失智症病患家庭照顧者之照顧負荷

Caring Burden of Family Caregivers for Dementia Patients

本研究使用建構問卷之量化研究方式，研究失智症病患之家庭照顧者之照顧負荷，計 取得問卷有效樣本 51 名，其中照顧者以女性為主，關係以媳婦為最多。 樣本群以中重度失智患者之家庭照顧者為主，本研究分析結論顯示：當患者罹患失智 症越久、照顧者照顧時間越長、照顧者每天花費於照顧患者的時間越多、患者日常生活功 能越差、患者行為情緒問題越嚴重時，則照顧者之照顧負荷越重，照顧者之生活負荷主要 以人際關係與社交生活所受之影響最大。在照顧需求的相關影響因素上，則以人際關係與 社交生活負荷與經濟負荷之影響最為顯著。 根據研究結果，本文建議未來相關政策方向應朝向協助家庭照顧者獲得社會支持與調 適、正式與非正式資源整合、以及相關喘息服務、日間照顧機構與照顧津貼等支持性方案 都會有助失智症病患家庭照顧者減輕負荷。

Questionnaire survey was employed to analyze family caregiver's burden for dementia patients in this study. 51 samples were surveyed; most caregivers are daughter-in –law. Most dementia patients' syndrome level of this study were at inter-mediate level .The analysis result showed that the longer period patients got dementia and the more time caregivers have spent for caring patients; and the worse ADL, deviant behaviors and emotions of patients, the heavier burden the caregivers have gotten, and that would cause great hardship and suffering for caregivers in aspect of interpersonal relationships and social network, burden of social network isolation and financial difficulties influence their caring needs the most. According to result of this research, I suggest that providing more social support, integrating formal and informal care resources and promoting more social service programs, like daycare center or respite care service, will be helpful to reduce the burden of family caregiver.
