顛覆與成長：《聊齋．醜狐》故事析論

Subversion and Growth：an Analysis of the Story Ugly Fox in Strange Tales of a Lonely Studio

歷來《聊齋誌異》「狐仙」故事研究，多環繞蒲松齡所編織的眾多美麗「狐仙夢」而展開。本文以〈醜狐〉為討論文本，用意是藉著〈醜狐〉中醜陋怪誕的身體來觀看，當「狐仙」、「女性」、「人狐戀」，這些議題都沒有改變，而「狐仙」卻不再美麗時，故事還剩下什麼？本文嘗試透過一系列的「顛覆策略」，男／女、美／醜、雅／俗、人／妖的顛覆，對〈醜狐〉文本進行再詮釋，以見蒲松齡對差異、多元世界的尊重。「狐」相較於人類是他者，美麗的狐仙群外的醜狐，更是他者中的他者。本文透過此顛覆策略，企圖將《聊齋誌異》的光環也投射到〈醜狐〉文本中狐仙的醜陋形象和怪異身體上，更豐富、深刻的詮釋蒲松齡「狐仙夢」的自我顛覆下，所要傳達的生命成長訊息。

They almost concentrate on the pretty fox fairies in the researches of fox fairy stories in Strange Tales of a Lonely Studio. I want to study Ugly Fox. Without the pretty body but under the same love story between human and fox, I intend to find that his end development. From the view of 'subversion strategy'—' male / female, beauty / ugly, elegant / vulgar, human / demon', we can realize that Pu, SongLing respected for difference and pluralism thru reinterpretating Ugly Fox. Compared to humans, fox is otherness. Compared to pretty fox, ugly fox is otherness of the otherness. From otherness of the otherness and thru ugly image and weird body in Ugly Fox, Pu, SongLing made a self-subversion. We can get the positive message he conveyed –life growing.
