論傳統「筆墨」的現代化

Modernization of the traditional 'Pen and Ink'

傳統筆墨作為中國繪畫藝術藝術的表現形式，自古以來便與中國文化儒家、道、佛家以及家傳宗等傳統思想、文化、精神相互融合，一方面因筆墨造型表現（皴法）的純粹性、多樣性與變化性，筆墨也就自然而然成為中國繪畫藝術的特質，同時也因筆墨藝術形式的特殊性而成為中國繪畫藝術本質精神之表徵，且具有無可替代之價值與重要性。然而面對十九世紀以來西方現代文化之衝擊，中國傳統筆墨藝術在現代康有為、陳獨秀、徐悲鴻等提倡「美術革命」進而以「美術救國」的口號下，傳統筆墨也就在時代的變革中開始進入現代性的轉向，除了援用西方藝術之優點引領傳統筆墨走向現代化之外，亦有堅持以傳統筆墨本質精神出發，以傳統筆墨開創新造型，創造筆墨現代化新局面的亦大有人在。因之，傳統筆墨藝術形式在西方現代文化的衝擊之下，不但沒有消亡或是被取代，反而因著西方現代藝術新形式的注入而有了重新創造現代筆墨藝術的契機。
是以，本研究計畫之重點在於說明傳統藝術觀現代轉向之初的時代背景與文化需求，進而解析、深論傳統筆墨觀的現代筆墨意識轉向的現代性意義。面對中國傳統繪畫的現代化，不論是從既有的傳統筆墨上進行「中國畫改良論」，或是從東西文化交流的視野下進行中國現代繪畫的「中西融合」，或是直接對傳統筆墨進行「革中鋒的命」，本論試圖透過以上現代繪畫理論的探討與探討，審視傳統筆墨藝術形式的現代性發展、變革，並闡述傳統筆墨現代性轉型的意義與價值。

As a form of traditional Chinese ink painting always combined with traditional culture. Because of the purity, diversity and change of ink, making ink painting became the representative of Chinese ink painting art. Faced with the impact of modern Western culture since the nineteenth century, Chinese traditional ink under the 'Art Salvation' slogan started 'Art Revolution.' The traditional pen and ink began to turn to modernity. But also because of new forms of modern Western art make the traditional pen and ink had the opportunity to reformed to create a modern art. The theory attempts to explore the development of the theory of modern painting, Examine the traditional art forms of modern ink changes, and explains the significance and value of modern transformation of traditional pen and ink.
