Most Chinese-Japanese characters database derived from the computer coding systems, there are insufficient historical basis and the lack of relationship between characters, so the findings of relevant research is limited and it is difficult to present the same impact as corpus to linguistics.
In this study, we use the knowledgebase of Chinese-Japanese characters and words based on Japanese rare books of different historical periods, to improve the current shortcomings of Chinese-Japanese characters database. The systematic comparison rules are used to provide better analysis and comparison between Chinese-Japanese variants. In this research, DaoZhaiSuiBi and ShengWenZuanKao are complied into the knowledgebase of Chinese-Japanese characters, then, compared with Ministry of Education online Dictionary of Chinese Character Variants. The results of this study indicate this application can provide better service than previous Chinese-Japanese characters databases. |
