In this classic, there metaphorically existed abundant wisdom of life which aimed at leading people to avoid dangers and tend to safety. The conception of precaution prevailed in this Chinese masterpiece; the consciousness of adversity was strongly revealed through the diction of soothsaying. Since there were many divinations containing such anxious consciousness in The Book of Changes, this research begins its analysis from Kan Diagram for the reason that water is the signifying symbol in Kan Divination and that danger is the major revealed divine meaning. By doing so, the conception that danger makes one's life smooth, but comfort makes one's life dangerous can be more thoroughly analyzed.
