National Central Library (NCL)’s Director-general Shu-hsien Tseng signed a cooperative memorandum to establish a Taiwan Resource Center for Chinese Studies (TRCCS) with the University of Washington libraries, U.S.A. on October 3, with the Leiden University libraries, the Netherlands on October 27, with the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (ASCR) on October 31, with the Bavarian State Library, Germany on November 3 and with the University of Tokyo libraries, Japan on December 10, followed by opening ceremonies.
