Fourth International Conference of Institutes and Libraries for Chinese Overseas Studies
The Fourth International Conference of Institutes and Libraries for Chinese Overseas Studies was held at Jinan University in Guangzhou on May 8 to 10, 2009. Scholars and experts from related institutes and libraries delivered 200 papers for the three-day conference, which was held under the theme of 'Interaction and Innovation: Multidimensional Perspectives in Chinese Overseas Studies.' Over 210 people attended from 23 countries, including the United States, Canada, France, The Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom and Taiwan. Mr. Chen Tehan of the NCL presented an 'Analysis of the Establishment of the Sino-International Library and Collection.'
