Jan. 7: Ms. Virginia Jing-yi Shih, director of the Southeast Asia Library at the University of California, Berkeley, visit the NCL and presents a speech on Building International Southeast Asia Collections: Challenges and Opportunities for Library Staff. Jan. 18: Ms. Tsao Jai-hsya, head of the East Asian Cataloging Division at the East Asian Library, University of Chicago visits the NCL for discussions. Feb. 14: Ms. Hsieh Chi-chun and Ms. Chang Ju-yi, senior librarians at New York City's Queens Library visit the NCL for discussions Feb. 19 Mr. Lee Ching-en, reference librarian at the Free Library of Philadelphia, visits the NCL to learn about the library's international cooperation affairs.
