July 3 Mr. Masake Baba and Mr. Ryoji Takagaki, directors of the Cultural Section and General Affairs Department, respectively, of the Taipei Office of the Interchange Association (Japan) visit the library. July 16 OCLC President Jay Jordan and Vice President Andrew H. Wang visit the library. July 19 A group of 16 people attending the International Association of School Librarianship Annual Conference visit the library accompanied by the director of the Taipei Municipal Jianguo High School Library and six others. July 23 National Library of Vietnam Director Pham The Khang, General Sciences Library, Ho-chi-Minh City Director Nguyen Thi Bac, Vietnam National University of Hanoi Library Director Nguyen Huy Chuong, Institute of Han-Nom Studies Library Director Chu Tuyet Lan, and Prof. Ching-chih Chen of Simmons College in Boston, U.S.A., visit the library.
