CALISE Holds 2002 Annual Meeting and E-learning Seminar

The Chinese Association of Library & Information Science Education (CALISE) held its annual meeting this year at the NCL from November 14 to 15. Organized by the association with support from the NCL and National Chengchi University Library, the meeting and jointly arranged seminar addressed ways to promote the application of e-learning resources to library and information science studies in Taiwan. The opening ceremony was jointly chaired by Prof. Hsueh Li-kui (薛理桂) and NCL director Juang Fang-rung (莊芳榮). Keynote speeches presented over the two-day seminar are listed below:
