Distance Learning Seminars(Vol.33 No.2)

Promotion of distance learning services at libraries was the focus of discussion during a symposium held on September 19 at the NCL. A total of 187 representatives from 62 organizations participated in the event, which was jointly organized by the NCL, Special Library Committee of the Library Association of China, and Taipei Chapter of the American Society for Information Science. The symposium was chaired by NCL deputy director Sung Chien-cheng (宋建成). Prof. Li Kunhan (李昆翰) of Taipei Municipal Teachers College delivered the keynote speech on “Digital Learning: Strategies for Transmitting Knowledge in the Digital Age.”
