The purpose of this study was to provide a review of clinical supervision research between 2000 and 2015 in Taiwan. The study was focused on the topics and methodology of these research papers, and analyzed in description statistical method. The key word of supervision was used to conduct the search in the “National Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations in Taiwan” and “PerioPath Index to Taiwan Periodical Literature System.” A total number of 83 research papers were selected and analyzed, including 12 doctoral dissertations, 24 master theses, and 47 journal articles. The results indicated that the most frequently seen participants in these researches were supervisees. Most of the participants were in schools. Research topics focused mostly on confirmation of supervisory theories, and the supervision of individual counseling. The most popular research method applied in these clinical supervision research papers was qualitative research. In addition, there were far more process research papers than outcome research papers. According to these findings, detailed results and suggestions for further research were discussed. |
