Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of high intensity training in different sleep hours on hepatic parameters in hepatit is B carriers. Methods: Sixteen male hepatitis B carriers were participated in this study. It includes eight subjects with 6 sleep hours (6H) and eight subjects with 8 sleep hours (8H). All subjects were be asked to run on treadmill at 85%V ‧ O2max, 30 minutes per day, three times a week for eight weeks. The blood samples collected at pre-training (T1), and post-4 weeks training (T2), and post-8 weeks training (T3), and 4 weeks after detraining (T4). All data will be analyzed by mixed design two-way ANOVA. Results:1) ALT: At 6H, the values at T2, T3 and T4 are higher than it at T1 (p < .05). At 8H, the values at T2 and T3 are lower than it at T1 (p < .05). 2) Globulin: At 6H, the value at T3 is lower than it at T4 (p < .05). At 8H, the values at T2 and T3 are lower than these at T1 and T4 (p < .05). Conclusion: In enough sleep hours, the good effects were shown during high intensity training time on ALT and globulin in hepatitis B carriers. Conversely, the adverse changes after 8 weeks training and 4 weeks after detraining were shown on ALT in poor sleep hours for hepatitis B carriers. |
