In the past, the effect of swimming intervention on the changes in physical fitness has been report in the literature regarding swimming capacity and physical fitness. In addition, a significant association between several physical fitness data and swimming learning was evident and the learning effect was better in male than in female students. Consequently, the purpose of this study was to understand the relationship between students' swimming capacity and physical fitness, and adopt the data of the physical fitness test to explore the effect of swimming skills learning. In the study, we analyzed physical fitness data and SCUE (swimming capacity unification examination) in 25-m breaststroke results of 1558 students of 2009-2011 by the secondary data analysis method. There was significant relationship between the genders about the pass rate for SCUE. Some physical fitness were significant in the ratio of pass SCUE in the same gender. We found that a significant difference in the ratio of pass SCUE existed in different genders from logistic regression model (p<.05). In addition, the ratio of pass SCUE might be predicted from standing long jump. This study tries to provide teaching and swimming capacity screen by taking advantage of physical fitness and to strengthen the association between physical fitness and swimming capacity policies. In physical fitness field, the notion of this study is innovative. The results and findings of this project can be used for an opportunity of physical fitness data versatility. |
